Jenny's was a decent little spot to get a bite while traveling on I70. Super quick service and I've cold drinks. The food was surprisingly tasty.
It doesn't look like much but I would go again. -

Sopes that are puffy! So good you'll cry.
The adovada pork is delicious.
Everything they fry here is ridiculously good. The taco salad shell, for example, is more than a vessel. It's awesome.
The traditional steak taco rocked as well.
And the refried beans.
I don't think you can go wrong here.
The chips backer refills cost $$$, but they cut and fry the chips in house. Enjoy that first basket! -

Stopped in here for a quick bite on my way through Colorado. Food was excellent. Ordered the chicken torta and had a nice little bowl of fresh chips and salsa to go with it. The sisters who were there were fabulous. Didn't get to meet the namesake of the restaurant -- but learned a little family history about the spot. It's so easy to get into a rut of hitting the same fast food spots on a long trip -- so I try to try the local flavors when possible and I was really impressed with this one. Always amazed, too, at the collection of people who end up gathering at places like this! Keep cooking and keep shooting!!!!

We got the marinated pork burritos. There was so much flavor! Best burrito I've had in a long time. A great stop for authentic Mexican food made with good vibes.

Stopped in while driving, based on previous reviews. Small place and most of the customers seemed like locals as they all interacted with the one waitress who also was working the cash register. A little girl who appeared to be the daughter of someone working there, sat alone at a table playing with a phone which had the volume way up making it distracting to carry on a conversation. Allowed to seat ourselves, overall impression was the waitress was over worked. The place is small and cluttered with stuff. Saw empty boxes which I would think would be trash, stacked along the walls with other food products such as tortillas. Food was much better than expected with nice portion size and flavor. First round of chips and salsa were free but we had to ask for it. House Margs were nothing special and wouldn't order one again so switched to beer afterwards. Overall I'd give the food a 4.3 but due to the cluttered condition of the seating area and the workers daughter and her cell phone and the one waitress doing double duty it drags the rating down to a 3. Worth going to, just don't be in a hurry for your food.
